1. How long will they last?
There is no guarantee about longevity due to the following factors:
home care. Some hair care products will weaken the bond attaching the extension to your hair and because we don't shower with you, we can provide recommendations but not supervision. Not caring appropriately for your extensions, stress, chlorine exposure will shorten the extensions life span. Rate of hair growth. As your hair grows, the hair will separate more and the bond will start to show indicating that it is time to have them redone. Hair loss. An average person loses 120 hairs a day, and stress or some health concerns increase that number. Over time, this reduces the number of remaining hairs the bond is attached to.
2. Can I style my hair like I normally would?
Yes, because Great Lengths extensions are 100 % human hair, arranged so that the grain of the outside layer of your hair extension is the same as your hair. So you can blow dry, flat iron and curl your hair the same way Rapunzel would with no increased risk of matting.
3. Some extensions wreck your hair, will great lengths do that?
No. The hair is not clamped, sewn, glued or waxed in, nor does it break the hair that it to which it is attached.
4. How much can it cost?
Pricing without a consultation is impossible as it is dependent on what length of hair you choose, and how many bundles of hair required. Your stylist will confirm the price during the consultation as the range of $250 to $2000 is admittedly a huge ball park.
